A Day of Joy at Wassa IDP Camp
February 7, 2025, marked a memorable day for students and teachers at Wassa IDP Camp’s primary and secondary schools. Nine NGOs in Abuja collaborated to bring joy and support to the community through the Abuja Joint NGO Project.
This project was born out of a nonprofit training series organized by the Abuja Network of NGOs (ANNNGO) and was made possible under the umbrella of the Abuja Network of New NGOs
The collaborative efforts of the following NGOs led to the project’s success:
1. Afrihub for Digital Literacy Skills Initiative
2. Abundance of Hope
3. Kazit Children Development Foundation
4. Youth for Change & Social Life Development Foundation (YOFCI)
5. Inemo Foundation
6. Mariam Ajibola Starlight Initiative
7. Youth Emancipation & Rehabilitation Foundation
8. Africommunity Technology Development Center
9. Children of Africa Leadership and Development (CALDEV)
Together, these organizations donated 200 textbooks and provided sanitary pads to 80 teenage girls. The project showcased the power of collaboration, making a lasting impact on the community.
As the team concluded their project, they received heartfelt gratitude from the students and teachers. The Abuja Joint NGO Project’s success will be remembered as a testament to the dedication of individuals and organizations coming together to make a difference.
