VOLUNTEER WITH ANNGO

Contribute Your Time, Skills and Expertise

ANNGO also welcomes individuals who are interested in supporting the work of the network through volunteering.

Volunteers can contribute their knowledge, professional skills, time and experience to support selected activities and initiatives of the network.

Important: Volunteering Is Unpaid

Volunteer opportunities with ANNGO are unpaid.

Volunteers contribute on a voluntary basis and should not expect salaries, wages or other regular financial compensation for their volunteer service.

Volunteering is also different from ANNGO organisational membership. An individual does not need to pay the ₦50,000 organisational membership fee simply to express interest in volunteering.

Areas Where Volunteers May Contribute

Depending on ANNGO’s current activities and needs, volunteers may support areas such as:

  • Event and meeting support

  • Communications and social media

  • Research and documentation

  • Digital technology and technical support

  • Training and facilitation support

  • Graphic design and creative services

  • Photography and media support

  • Community engagement

  • Other areas where relevant skills are needed

Volunteer opportunities will depend on ANNGO’s programmes, activities and available needs at any particular time.

  • Are interested in civil society and community development

  • Are willing to contribute their time and skills

  • Can work respectfully with other organisations and individuals

  • Are committed to responsible and professional conduct

  • Have relevant knowledge, experience or skills to contribute

  • Are willing to support ANNGO activities on an unpaid basis

How Volunteering Works

1. Express Your Interest

Complete the volunteer interest form and tell us about your skills, experience and areas of interest.

2. Review

ANNGO may review your information and contact you when a relevant volunteer opportunity arises.

3. Opportunity Matching

Where there is a suitable need, ANNGO may discuss the role, expected contribution and timeframe with you.

4. Volunteer Contribution

You contribute your agreed time, skills or expertise on a voluntary basis.

Submitting a volunteer interest form does not guarantee a volunteer placement or assignment. Opportunities depend on ANNGO’s activities and current needs.
